 Clean Elections

My Congressman, B. Bilbray (R-Dolt) gave an interview at website The Hill. Here is the article:

http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/rep.....2009-06-13.html

I found this to be the most interesting part:

Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), a close friend of Bilbray’s despite their opposing positions on the issue, pledged to make comprehensive immigration reform happen before the end of the 111th Congress.

“As far as I’m concerned, we have three major issues we have to do this year, if at all possible: No. 1 is healthcare; No 2 is energy, global warming; No. 3 is immigration reform,” Reid said on June 4.

Nice to know that Bilbray and Reid are BFF's and that Harry thinks there is only 3 important issues for the 111th Congress. Politics is a sewer and politicians are the rats that thrive there.

Bilbray thinks that the 50th hasn't moved on from the hate filled rhetoric of the '06 campaign. Bilbray is scared. I called his office just a bit ago regarding his position to healthcare and was told he hadn't made up his mind yet, he is getting both pro and con calls. We will see.
